Recent Activities:

Divine Savior Healthcare is implementing a new program on the Medical Surgical Floor and the Intensive Care Unit through a group called TCAB (Transforming Care At Bedside). Comfort Care Bags will be distributed to the patient and patientís families that are at the end-of-life and receiving comfort care. Comfort care is care that helps or soothes a person who is dying. The goal is to prevent or relieve suffering as much as possible while respecting the dying personís wishes. The hope for this program is to deliver the best possible care for patients and their families throughout the dying process.
     Calico Capers Quilt Guild is donating  lap quilts for the comfort care bags. More about this project is in an article:

This commemorative quilt was presented to the Marquette County Chapter of the Ice Age Trail in honor of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
  Gary Ertl, left, President of the chapter received the quilt from designer and organizer of the project, Judy Kroupa, center.  Members of the Calico Capers Quilt Guild made the blocks, and Jeannette Warzynski constructed the quilt.  Longarm quilting was done by Amy Sanders and Eileen Noegel completed the binding.

Quilt Guild of Endeavor, Wisconsin was founded on October 17, 1983 and still counts several charter members among the active members today.  Monthly Guild meetings are held at the Trinity United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall located at 234 N. Church Street, Endeavor, Wisconsin.  Each meeting begins with snacks at 6:15, followed by a business meeting at 6:30, show and tell, and various programs.  Activities of the Guild include bus trips, an biannual quilt show, outreach activities, Christmas gathering, summer picnic, classes and workshops.  Many guild members have also been involved with the Marquette County Quilts and Hidden History Murals Trails.
